Hon. Yusuf Babangida Sulaiman was born in the ancient city of Kano on 28th April, 1976. Hon. Babangida popularly known as Dawo-Dawo attended Kurmawa Primary School from 1983-1989. He attended Government Secondary School Warure and proceeded to Aminu Kano Commercial College for his Senior Secondary School Certificate from 1992-1995. After his Secondary Education Honourable Yusuf engaged himself in business, travelling to different Countries.

He attended Informatics Institute Kazaure for Advance Diploma in Computer, Bayero University Kano and York St. John University United Kingdom and California South University USA. A courageous politician, Dawo-Dawo proved to be a philanthropist who touches the lives of his people. Honaurable Yusuf was encouraged by his people to contest for the seat of House Assembly in 2011-2015. A strong supporter of the former Governor of Kano State Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso won the seat of state Legislator in 2011, 2015 and 2019. Honourable Suleman Babangida Yusuf Dawo-Dawo is serving his third term in the Kano State House of Assembly.
