Hon. Yahaya Abdullahi was born in Tsmaiyar Kara, Gezawa Local Government on 16^th February, 1966. He attended Tsamiyar Kara Primary School from 1976 to 1982 and proceeded to Government Secondary School Zakirai from 1982 to 1988. He also attended CAS, Kano and obtained I.J.M.B certificate.  Hon. Yahaya attended Usman Danfodio University from 1991 to 1995. He is a business man and grassroots politicians.. He is a Member of All Progressive Party (APC) representing Madobi Local Government. His hobby is reading and watching television. Presently he is the Chairman House Standing Committee on Special Duties and Deputy Chairman Transport and member of various House Standing committees including,, Education, Ethics and privilege and Finance.

He has travelled to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey
