Hon. Usman Abubakar Tasiu was born in Kiru, Kiru Local Government on 1^st January, 1986. He attended Kiru Child Friendly International Kiru Primary School and finished in 1997. He proceeded to Government Junior Arabic Kiru Yamma and obtained Junior Secondary School certificate in 2000. Hon. Usman also attended Maitama Sule Science College Gaya and finished in 2003. He also attended Bayero University, Kano and obtained Diploma in 2008.  He is a member of New Nigerian People Party (NNPP).  He was a business man before he joined politics. Hon. Usman is presently the Chairman House Standing Committee on SUBEB and Deputy Chairman Health and also member of various House Standing committees including Youth and Sports, Public Accounts and House Service.
