Hon. Muhammad Ahmad Tomas was born on 10^th August, 1964 in Danmake Makoda Local Government Area of Kano State. He attended Babbar Riga Primary School from 1975 to 1981 where he obtained his primary school leaving certificate. He continued his Secondary School Education in Danbatta Government Secondary School from 1981 to 1986. He proceeded to Audu Bako College of Education and read Diploma in Agric extension from 1987 to 1989. Hon. Muhammad Ahmad Tomas went to National Veterinary Research Institutr VOM, Plateau State and obtained HND in Agric Extension from 2000 to 2002.  He was a former D.P.M and Local Government Chairman. His hobby is Football. He is currently a Chairman of Women Affairs and, and Member in Agric, Transport and Election Committees.

Hon. Muhammad Ahmad Tomas has travelled wide and far including Saudi Arabia Ghana.
