Hon. Ali Abdullahi was born on 10^th July, 1960, in Wudil Local Government Area of Kano State. He attended Wudil Central Primary School where he obtained his primary school leaving certificate in 1977. Honourable Ali Abdulahi proceeded to Teachers College Wudil for his Grade II Certificate. He also obtained Diploma in Public Health Superintended in 1987. He is presently serving his second term as a Legislator. He served from 2007-2011.

He is the Chairman House Standing Committee on Pension and Deputy Chairman House Service and member of various House Standing including, Transport, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, House Service and SUBEB.
