Hon. Abdulhamid Abdul Minjibir was born in Gezawa Local Government on 12^th January, 1959. He started his primary school education in 1969 and completed in 1975. He continued his secondary school education from 1975 and finished in 1980. Hon. Abdulhamid Abdul Minjibir received his National Diploma in 1982 and Higher National Diploma in 1986. He also obtained Post Graduate Diploma in 1989. He is a grassroots politician worked in private and public institutions and was a former Kano State House of Assembly member in the 7^th legislature. He is a Member of All New Nigerian People Party (NNPP) representing Minjibir constituency. Presently he is the Chairman House Standing Committee on Higher Education and Deputy Chairman Appropriation and member of various House Standing committees including, Agric, CRC, Religious, and Selection.
