Tasi’u Zabainawa

 

Hon. Tasi’u Ibrahim Zabainawa was born on 1st February 1964 at Zabainawa Inusa in Minjibir Local Government Area of Kano State. He attended Zabainawa Inusa Primary School from 1974 – 1980 and Garki Teachers’ College from 1980- 1985. After his Grade II Examination Zainabawa enrolled for the National Certificate of Education formerly Kano State College of Education Kumbotso.

He worked with the Ministry of Education Kano before proceeding to Usman Danfodio University Sokoto for a Degree in Agricultural Sciences. After the death of Honourable Hamisu Garba Gurjiya in 2016, who represented Minjibir Local Government Area in the State house of Assembly. Honourable Tasi’u was invited by his community to contest for the vacant seat. In one of the controversial elections in Kano State, honourable Tasi’u Ibrahim won the seat to represent Minjibir Local Government in Kano State House of Assembly.
