Hon Nuhu Abdullahi Achika an experienced and grassroot politician was born 53 years ago in Achika Kofar Kudu Gidan Dori in Wudil Local Government Area. He attended Achika Primary School from 1975 – 1981 and Wudil Teachers College for his Teacher Grade II Certificate in 1988.

Hon. Achika was elected as a Councilor in Garki/Achika ward in Wudil Local Government Council. He combines politics with business and this gave him the opportunity to know the politics of his constituency Wudil and Kano State in general. Honourable Nuhu was elected in 2011 – 2015 to represent Wudil in the State Legislative House. He won the seat again in 2015 under All Progressive Congress (APC). He is happily married with children.
