Hon. Maifada Bello Kibiya was born in 1970 at Kibiya in Kibiya Local Government 46 years ago. He attended Kibiya Central Primary School in 1976 and proceeded to J.S.S Kibiya for his Junior Secondary School for three years. Hon. Bello completed his Senior Secondary School in G.S.S. Rano in 1988. A renowned Banker Honourable Maifada attended Kano State Polytechnic and Bayero University Kano obtaining Master’s in Business Administration.

He was appointed Special Adviser to Kibiya Local Government Chairman on Economic Matters. Seeing his capabilities and love for his people, Honourable Maifada was elected into the State House of Assembly in 2007. He won the seat again in 2015. A two term member, he is currently among the principal officers of the House because of his experience and initiatives. He is married with a lot of children.
