Hon. Labaran Ayuba Alasan was born 49 years ago (16th June, 1977) in Durum village, Kabo Local Government Area of Kano State.

He attended Durum Primary School “Between” 1985–1991. After that his parents enrolled him in a Qur’anic School where he memorized the Holy Qur’an. Between 1993 – 1996 he did Kabo Junior Secondary Education in Kabo and his Senior Secondary Education in Karaye Local Government between 1996 – 2000.

In his quest for further education, Honourable Alasan went back to his Qur’anic School. Between 2004 – 2006, he served as a councilor.

As a reward for his contribution to the development of his community, his people called on him to context for the post of a legislator in the state in the year 2011. He did and was elected into the State House of Assembly. After a satisfactory performance he was again given the mandate in 2015. He is currently serving his second term as a State Legislator.
