Ibrahim Dawakiji


Hon. Ibrahim Muhamamd Usman Dawakiji (Mai Gidan Kwai) was born on 12th June, 1963 in Dawakiji village, Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area.

He attended Dawakiji Primary School in 1977 after which he gained admission into Government Secondary School, Rano 91977 – 1979) and later the Famous Science Secondary School, Dawakin Tofa 91979 – 1982) respectively.

Between 1983 – 1986, Usman attended Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta from where he came out with a National Diploma in General Agriculture. He got an employment as Agricultural Superintendent in 1987.

Between 1993 – 1995 Usman secured an admission into the famous Ahmadu Bello University Zaria from where he came out with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agricultural Extension and Sociology. He retired from public service in the year 2014 as Head of Department, Agriculture. He joined politics and was elected into the Kano State House of Assembly in the year 2015.
