Hon. Ali Ibrahim Isah was born in 1955, 62 years ago in Shanono Local Government Area of Kano State. He attended Shanono Primary School where he obtained his Primary School Certificate in 1972. After his Primary Education he attended Kano teachers College for his Teacher Grade II Certificate in 1977.

With his brilliance performance in his Grade II Examination he was made a Headmaster of Shakogi Primary School in Shanono Local Government Area. Honourable Ali Ibrahim taught in many Primary and Secondary Schools. He has an impressive work record which started as a classroom teacher and later rose to the position of principal in many Secondary Schools. He was later promoted to the position of education secretary in Shanono Local Government.

A graduate of Bayero University Kano he was elected as the chairman of Shanono Local Government in 2005-2006 under the platform of ANPP. He answered the call of his people to contest for a seat in the State House of Assembly in 2005 which he won successfully. With his wide experience in the public service the House will benefit from his administrative skills.
